This project focuses on different education programs and teacher language practices and how these programs and practices are associated with linguistic and academic growth in children. The results of this study will inform a model to guide education programs and direct teachers’ language practices to meet the needs of all students. Importantly, this project involves teacher training opportunities to bridge the gap between basic research on the science of children's learning and impact in classrooms.
